Old watercolour – mountain landscape, Auvergne / Cantal. Charming watercolour depicting a rural mountain landscape, likely inspired by Auvergne or Cantal, featuring a traditional farmhouse nestled in the heart of a wooded valley. The delicate work of washes and shades of greens and blues conveys a soft and peaceful atmosphere, typical of French mid-mountain landscapes. The piece is executed in watercolour on paper and presented in an elegant moulded and patinated wooden frame, with a mount and glass. The richly decorative frame has a beautiful patina in golden and brown tones, adding a lot of character to the whole. Condition: Very good overall condition.
