Description
This beautiful ceramic, dating from the 1960s, is signed by the French ceramist Yvon Roy, from the Montgolfier art workshops in Durtal, in Anjou. Bottle-shaped, in brown glazed terracotta with a shiny finish, it presents a stylized decoration of flowers, with an incised effect in white and shades of blue-green, as well as a play of horizontal lines in the lower part in the same colors. The surface of the enamel has very attractive irregular shades of dark brown and blue-green, which further enhances the artistic appearance of the piece. The inside of the collar is also blue-green. An elegant vintage ceramic, with strong decorative power, and a beautiful signature. Signed at the tip under the base "yr" (yvon roy) and "france" 20th century - 1960s. Height: 27 cm. Body diameter: 8 cm. Neck diameter: 4 cm. Weight: 660g. Excellent condition, no cracks or chips. Note a tiny chip (from manufacturing?) on the back of the ceramic (photo with arrow), less visible in real life than in the photo. Fast and careful delivery, in tracked parcel or relay point.
