Olive pot in glazed stoneware, stamped "Arts-Céram Grand Feu" underneath. It comes from a French production in Puisaye, made by the workshop of Michel Pointu and his wife Denise Pointud-Detraz, located in Les Bouillons, near Arquian. This workshop, active from 1951 until early 1963, notably produced utilitarian stoneware with carefully designed shapes by Denise Pointud-Detraz. This model is appealing for its rustic aesthetic with brutalist accents, combining a speckled ecru body with a honey-brown lid featuring amber hues. The raised inscription "OLIVES" on the front and the side handle intended for the tongs highlight its functional character. The stoneware lid retains its original cork disc. A beautiful piece of vintage French ceramics, ideal for a retro kitchen, a flea market decoration, or an interior with wabi-sabi influences. Dimensions: H 23 × W 15 cm. Please note: original tongs missing. Fast and careful shipping.
