Elegant antique teapot in silver-plated metal, bearing the Boulenger hallmark, a renowned French silversmith since the 19th century known for the quality of its silver-plated work, notably supplying prestigious houses, private hotels, and the French Navy. Very beautiful baluster silhouette on a moulded foot with a rounded body, intricately designed handle, elongated spout with cut facets, and a lovely hinged lid topped with a pointed dome-shaped finial. Generous capacity of approximately one litre, ideal for family service or receptions. An exceptional piece for enthusiasts of antique table arts, collectors of French silverware, or to enhance an existing tea service, or even simply for decoration.
