Mid-century German minimalist wall lamp model Flamingo by BUR, Bünte & Remmler Leuchten, 1960s.

Vintage mid-century wall lamp by the German manufacturer BUR Leuchten. Cubic shapes run through this design, from the lampshade to the wall plate. The most striking detail of these BUR designs is the fine perforation of the shades. An elongated rectangular hole refracts the emerging light and, when lit, breaks the cubic shape of the lampshade. The lamp head is positioned at the end of an articulated arm, allowing for individual orientation. A special detail is the white push switch integrated into the wall base. The lamp is in good condition with signs of wear and patina.
