"old kurdish carpet, multicolored, circa 1880" A decoration characteristic of this ethnic group highlights a rich geometric composition with a diagonal tendency that gives the sense of infinity. The rhomboidal shapes with serrated edges with small signs surrounding them are reminiscent of stars. The amount of colors, all of natural origin, is an excellent indication of a good period, only the two heads had been dyed with a synthetic color now faded. There are the original edges and the two ends that close with a plain weaving strip. Dimensions: 290x137 cm. Condition: wear but remains in good condition for its age. A small restoration on the fringes of the lower headboard visible in the photos.
