Beautiful and rare large vintage vase with colorful floral motif on a green background, glazed ceramic by bay, west germany, ca 1960's, marked 98-50 at the bottom. West germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are roth, carstens, ruscha, jopeko, jasba, fohr, but the greatest were perhaps scheurich and bay.
