A very rare modular shelving system in teak was designed by preben sorensen in the 1960s. It is probably one of the earliest versions of ps wall units; most of the others were hung from the top using brass hardware (you can compare it with other shelving systems on our website). In this particular version, six shelves are supported by metal and teak hangers on solid wood rails. The authenticity of the mounting system is confirmed by engravings in the metal hardware. Minimalistic, elegant, and functional, the spacing between shelves can be arranged according to personal preference. The simplicity of the wall unit makes it versatile and a beautiful addition to any interior - whether in an office space, living room, or bedroom. This shelving system consists of: 1 shelf:  20 cm deep. 2 shelves: 30 cm deep. 3 shelves: 25 cm deep. Metal mounting system. 2 wooden rails 192 cm long. Our team checked the bookcase thoroughly. All components fit together. We have cleaned the wood and protected it with danish oil.  we leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece. Overall, the set is in fantastic condition with minor traces of use.
