Set of cups and saucers Arcoroc Sierra ruby – 1970s

Duo of cups and saucers by Arcoroc, model Sierra, in tempered ruby red glass. In the 1960s, the Sierra collection was developed for the catering industry, making it durable, easily stackable, and dishwasher safe without losing its ruby hue. The glass features a beautiful red tone, luminous through transparency and deeper in the thicker parts. The cups are slightly textured on the outside, with a smooth and shiny interior and handles with geometric lines characteristic of the model. In good vintage condition. Some fine traces and small marks related to use, with no chips or cracks. Cups: diameter 8.5 cm – height 5.5 cm – width including handle 10.5 cm. Saucers: diameter 14 cm. An intense ruby red and a design conceived for sixties cafés, still as effective on today’s tables.
