Yellow Magis 'Me Too' Original Javier Mariscal Julian Chair

This first edition example of the quirky Javier Mariscal Julian Kids pet Chair for Magis’s Me Too collection is in good condition with its strong sunny colour. A wonderful idea, this chair was part of a larger collection of items specifically designed for children which featured items from other designers. It is well reported that this design of Javier Mariscal’s was based on a character from his own cartoon strip from many years before, Los Garriris. When approached to create a chair for children, it seemed an excellent source of inspiration and the result was this unique, playful, little chair. Individual Characteristics. This is a first edition example of this novel design but its condition does not represent its age. It shows light signs of age and use around its paws, sorry, feet and the across the surface, but there are no cuts or chips in the plastic and the colour is still very vibrant. The logo on the underside confirms this is an original piece produced for Magis’s Me Too collection.
