Restored Teak 1960s Mcintosh Long Teak Sideboard

Description: This beautiful sideboard was designed by tom roberson who was chief designer for mcintosh of kirkcaldy between 1948 and 1983 when he produced his most notable design the torpedo sideboard. The sleek design consists of two double cupboards and three drawers with beautiful sculpted circular solid teak handles. The interior of the sideboard consists of one fitted shelf and an open space cabinet designed for drinks bottles which also features a pull-out drinks tray. This fabulous midcentury case piece makes the perfect addition to any modern interior. Item sku: v. Condition: We have carefully stripped this sideboard and refinished it with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish. We try to capture the condition of the peace in our photographs as best possible. Prior to dispatch all items are carefully cleaned and re-coated with danish oil to ensure your item is looking its best when delivered. We have carefully reaired one of the drawers handles as photographed this in no way detracts from the sideboard and cannot be noticed in use. This item is otherwise in good condition with no faults.
