4 Ridgway Windsor Blue English Dessert Plates – Staffordshire

Charming set of 4 fine English earthenware dessert plates by Ridgway – Staffordshire, England, featuring a “Windsor” motif in deep blue on an ivory background with a scrolled edge. Their central motif, combining flowers and a stylized bird, is framed by a refined floral frieze, typical of the traditional English style. These plates date from the 1960s–1970s and come from the famous Ridgway factory, founded in 1792 in Staffordshire, an iconic region of British earthenware. Stamped Ridgway – Staffordshire (England) Beautiful vintage condition, with a patina of age that gives them a slightly different color from one plate to the next. Micro-scratches from use. One of the plates has a chip on the edge (see Photos). Diameter 17.5 cm. English elegance for a chic table setting. I also have 2 flat plates of the same model in my shop, diameter 25 cm.
