If only it was possible to order a hundred of these marvels brand new in a rainbow of colors and fabrics. The world would be a better place. There is something really special about this chair and it is precisely why we revere the Italian designers of the 1970s. In our decade of being in business, this is the first one we have had the pleasure to work on. Guido Faleschini designed this incredibly comfortable lounge chair for Pace Collection. Produced in Italy by Mariani for Pace in the late 1970s. The chair is bolted to a polished chrome base and swivels completely 360 degrees. The swivel mechanism is heavy duty steel and is balanced perfectly to allow the chair to rotate almost on its own. Our restoration team stripped this down completely and rebuilt it with a rich, dark blue navy velvet that seems to complement the chrome base perfectly. We matched the original stitch pattern and button tufting. The chrome base has been hand polished and only has minor, age appropriate imperfections. Excellent restored vintage condition.
