Villeroy and Boch timeless design coffee maker 1970

Superb Villeroy & Boch coffee pot, with a sober and refined design typical of the 1970s. Its silhouette and deep mahogany brown glazing make it both an elegant and graphic piece. The quality of German porcelain is evident in the details: a tapered spout, perfectly balanced angular handle, and a lid with a small cylindrical knob, showcasing great modernity. The spout features a discreet indentation under its tip, an ingenious anti-drip detail designed to control the flow and prevent drips, while adding a subtle graphic signature to the line of the pot. This coffee pot combines functionality with minimalist aesthetics, in the spirit of the Scandinavian and Bauhaus creations that inspired Villeroy & Boch at that time. Stamped Villeroy & Boch Luxembourg under the base. In beautiful vintage condition, very shiny, with no chips or cracks. A very slight glazing defect in brown on part of the inside of the spout (see photos). Height 17 cm, total length (handle to spout) 21 cm, depth 12.5 cm, base diameter 14 cm.
