Pair of armchairs – Louis-Philippe style – Cabriole legs – Chenille fabric

Pair of Louis-Philippe style armchairs, 19th century, with a rounded barrel back and a low enveloping silhouette characteristic of the "crapaud" chair. The seat and backrest are fully upholstered in a speckled fabric in a soft salmon/coral pink with a slight texture, bordered by a discreet piping at the lower part of the seat. The backrest includes a rolled lumbar cushion, a typological element of this type of seat. The cabriole legs are made of solid dark brown stained wood, slightly carved, and appear sturdy. Seat height: 32 cm. Dimensions: H. 74 cm – W. 50 cm. Estimated unit weight: 15 kg. Workshop observation: the fabric shows signs of wear and pilling, indicating the age of the pieces; the structure appears solid and the proportions are well preserved.
