Magnificent and antique sugar tongs by Christofle (prestigious French silversmith). Model: Boréal, a major modernist creation designed by the silversmith Luc Lanel. Pure Art Deco design (1930s), with taut lines and geometric cut facets. Dimensions: 13 cm in length. Weight: 46g. The tongs bear the signature "CHRISTOFLE" in full, as well as the square hallmark with the letters CC (Charles Christofle). Condition: Very good used condition. The silver plating is superb, complete, and brilliant, with no missing or worn areas. There are slight surface micro-scratches, which are normal.
