Service of 53 pieces from Gien, model "Bagatelle" (plates, dishes, salad bowls)

Authentic Gien tableware service model Bagatelle Blue – 53 pieces. Glossy glaze. Fine earthenware service from Gien, model "Bagatelle" in blue. Classic and timeless style. This was Grandma Lucienne's service! All pieces bear the official stamp of the Gien Faïencerie on the base. The service includes: 16 Dinner plates: 7 plates in good condition despite a few small chips (2300g) + 9 with some cracks and larger chips (3000g), see photos. Diameter: 21.5 cm. Deep plates of 2 distinct shapes, 6300g: The traditional deep plate (with wing): 18. 12 in perfect condition + 6 cracked or with signs of normal use. (see photo) This is the most classic model from the faïencerie. It has a deep base (the basin) surrounded by a wide flat rim (the wing). Ideal for serving soups, clear broths, or liquid starters. Diameter 21 cm. The "calotte" deep plate (or bowl): 5. All have normal signs of use at the bottom of some plates, healthy glaze. It has no flat rim (no wing). The edges rise directly in a continuous curve from the bottom of the plate, like a very flared bowl. Perfect for pasta, risottos, composed salads, or saucy dishes. Diameter 20 cm. 11 Dessert / cheese plates. 8 in perfect condition + 3 with stains or cracks. Diameter 19.5 cm. 2700g. 1 Round serving platter with handles. Diameter 28 cm. 260g. In very good condition. 2 Octagonal salad bowls: 1 of 26 cm in very good condition + 1 of 28 cm with numerous chips (gift!) 2150g. Condition: The glaze is nice and shiny.
