A period chandelier like one dreams of to dress an interior with character! This beautiful Art Deco chandelier with 4 lights features a large central globe surrounded by 3 satellite globes suspended from elegantly curved and finely chiselled brass arms. The frosted pressed glass globes showcase a geometric stepped design. This "skyscraper" motif is characteristic of the spirit of the 1920s-1930s. The central brass band is adorned with repoussé decorations of stylised plant motifs, grape clusters, leaves, etc., framed by fine fluting, typical of the Art Deco decorative vocabulary in all its grace. The chandelier is antique and dates from the 1930s; it is in very good condition. The whole piece presents a beautiful period patina on the metals, consistent and endearing, and it functions electrically. The glass globes are in perfect condition. 66cm in diameter, 30cm in diameter and 30cm in height for the main deflector, 25cm in height for the small globes. An additional 60cm of chain and fixing. 4 bayonet bulbs. Visible in Colmar, delivery possible upon request.
