Magnificent pair of Venini wall sconces, made in Italy around the 1970s, in the famous "Triedi" cut Murano glass. These sconces feature a spectacular composition of blades and transparent cut glass elements, in triangular shapes, mounted on a gilded metal structure. The arrangement at different levels gives the whole a particularly sculptural, almost architectural appearance. The cut glass captures and reflects light with great subtlety. When lit, the sconces provide warm, sparkling illumination while casting beautiful patterns of light and shadow on the wall. When turned off, they remain true decorative objects thanks to the richness of their composition and the transparency of the glass. A creation representative of Italian design from the 1970s, where the work with glass truly becomes an element of interior architecture. The combination of transparent glass and gilded metal gives them a presence that is both luxurious, graphic, and timeless. This pair will be particularly elegant in an interior with antique mouldings but can also find its place in a contemporary, modernist, or eclectic decor. Brand: Venini. Origin: Italy.
