Superb French Art Deco lamp, emblematic of the Streamline Moderne movement of the 1930s. It is distinguished by its elegant oblong glass shade made of translucent pressed glass, featuring a regular pattern of raised dots that diffuse a soft and refined light. The base, made of blackened wrought iron, has an architecturally designed cut-corner base resting on three sculpted feet, giving the whole piece a sculptural presence and great stability. The balance between the geometric rigor of the metal and the softness of the glass perfectly illustrates the modernist aesthetic of the interwar period. Dimensions: Height: 38 cm. Diameter: 28 cm.
