Restored vintage floor lamp – handmade Thevenon lampshade

Vintage floor lamp fully restored and reimagined in my workshop. Its classically inspired base, with fluting and botanical ornaments, has been completely renovated in an antique green with a slight patina that highlights its reliefs and retains all its character. The cylindrical lampshade has been entirely handmade in my workshop, using high-end upholstery fabric from Maison Thevenon, a French fabric publisher since 1908. Its botanical and exotic decor features monkeys, peacocks, and birds amidst delicate foliage, set against a light background with soft tones. It is accented with a green trim and finished with an ecru fringe. Its various patterns are shown in the last three photos. The entire electrical system is new: E27 brass screw socket, twisted ecru textile cable, foot switch, and matching plug. A unique piece, both elegant and distinctive, that adds a true decorative presence to a room, even when turned off.
