Superb Vintage Watchmaker-Jeweller's Workbench. Rarity and authenticity for this magnificent solid workbench of a watchmaker/jeweller repurposed as a console or small sideboard. Mounted on oblique splayed legs that give it a slender Mid-Century line, this piece is unique, combining the charm of the old with elegant functionality. The cabinetmaking work is remarkable: visible dovetail joints on the case and drawers, recessed brass shell handles with a patina, and a superb interior lining in bright red felt, preserved in perfect condition. The whole has been carefully restored and waxed to reveal the beautiful warm tones of the wood.
