Storvig Wicker Armchair by Carl Öjerstam for Ikea, 2000s

Armchair dating from the 2000s and attributed to the designer Carl Ojerstam for Ikea composed inside a rattan structure connected by screws and rattan ties and a woven wicker armchair in light wood color forming in one line the long round seat with a slight recess to fit the shape of the body and a mushroom-shaped backrest to support the head. In good general condition, this large armchair has some discreet lacks of wicker in places which do not detract from the solidity of the seat, some traces of time are also to be noted on certain parts although the whole remains very harmonious. Completely cleaned by us, we also added some wooden rods inside to reinforce the seat and have completely varnished the wicker to fade the traces of time and protect it. White plastic pads are installed on the back to protect your floor and protect the wicker. Ideal for joining a living room to watch your movies, in front of a swimming pool for a sunbath or on a terrace, this armchair with designer lines will find its place in any type of interior and exterior and will bring a summery touch to your decoration. This armchair was produced in Sweden between 2001 and 2005 in a very limited quantity and won the red dot award in 2002. Seat height: 30 cm.
