Art Deco sideboard in walnut with a marble top

Sideboard with 3 doors and 3 drawers in Art Deco style and period, circa 1920. Top in light marble, Aleppo breccia, light colour veined with green and burgundy accents. The marble is set into a wooden frame, with only the front edge visible above the drawers. 3 drawers made entirely of solid wood, walnut front, rounded finish on the top to highlight the marble top. 3 beautiful curved bronze handles. 3 cupboard doors in solid walnut, with a large sculpted flower vase on the central door. Brass lock entries, Art Deco style decorations, functional locks, 3 keys provided. Inside, there is a large shelf in solid oak, on adjustable brackets. Antique sideboard, traditionally made in France in the 1920s, healthy, stable, and solid. Recent restoration, old woodworm holes have been filled. The furniture has been fully treated and sanitised. The marble is smooth and clean. There are two original round holes on the marble, locations for a shelf or a mirror. A small decorative piece is missing under the post separating the left door and the central door. The bottoms of the drawers, the shelf, and the back of the cupboard have been sanded and protected with a natural colourless top oil suitable for food contact. The wood has been lightened and sanitised. Sideboard ready and suitable for daily use. This piece was located in the dining room of a very old stone house in Gard (30), France. Measurements of useful interiors: Shelf 156x41 cm. Drawers: 37 or 57 cm wide, 8 cm high, 40 cm deep.
