Coat Tree by Sidse Werner for Fritz Hansen, Denmark, 1970s

This Coat Tree was designed by Danish designer Sidse Werner for Fritz Hansen. The design was created in the 1970s and is distinguished by its sculptural form, reminiscent of the branches of a tree. The example offered here was manufactured in Denmark in 2001, as confirmed by the original maker’s label. The coat stand is crafted from chrome-plated steel. Its numerous curved arms provide ample space for hanging coats, clothing, and accessories, while the wide base ensures stability. The ends of the arms and the base elements are finished with spherical plastic caps. The chrome-plated elements have been carefully cleaned and polished, restoring their original shine and elegant appearance. The Coat Tree is preserved in very good, nearly excellent condition. The original Fritz Hansen maker’s label confirms the designer, manufacturer, Danish origin, and year of production – 2001.
