Elegant vintage sofa with modernist lines and Scandinavian inspiration, reminiscent of the creations of Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. The warm-toned wooden structure features a particularly clean design, complemented by slender black metal legs. The seat rests on a beautiful system of woven cross cords, fully visible when the cushions are removed, contributing to the graphic character and quality of construction of the piece. The sofa consists of a wide seat cushion and a backrest with simple shapes, dressed in a textured fabric in shades of green and blue. The backrest is attached to an elegant wooden structure by metal supports. A piece with generous proportions and a light silhouette, characteristic of post-war modernist furniture. It will easily find its place in a contemporary, vintage, or mid-century interior. Vintage condition: good overall condition. The structure shows some signs of use, wear, and small chips in the veneer/finish, mainly at the corners, visible in the photographs. The fabric also has slight marks related to use. These elements do not detract from the overall appearance of the sofa. Dimensions: L 200 × D 80 × H 72 cm. Seat height: 40 cm. Materials: wood, metal, woven cord, and fabric. Era/style: 1950-1970, Scandinavian modernism.
