Minimalist table lamp from the German space age mid-century by Hoffmeister Leuchten, 1960s.

Vintage design. Colourful mid-century table lamp by the German manufacturer Hoffmeister Leuchten. The lamp head is shaped like a simple cuboid open at the bottom. The edges of the top are designed as joints through which light can also escape. An apparent indirect spatial light. The dome-shaped base creates a successful contrast with the cubic light head. The base and the shade are connected by a chrome arm. The lamp can be aligned in different positions via various joints. The colouring is not original. The fixture has been modified. What I see here, rather critically, seems to be a successful alteration. The simple lamp takes on a postmodern appearance.
