Foot of lamp wood vine vine Art-popular old

The lamp base is in very good condition, no accidents, no missing ... It is old, and has retained its beautiful original patina. It is a work of craftsmanship, a unique piece brilliantly designed by some skilled handyman, probably in the 50s, from real vines with harmonious shapes, skillfully assembled. The electrical assembly has been completely redesigned, and everything works perfectly. The brass socket is old, and receives bayonet bulbs. The wire, which comes out on the side of the socket measures 2 m 35 cm, it is equipped with a switch, and a socket quite functional. The lamp stand has been well designed, it is very stable. The natural movement of the different arms of the vine gives it a lively and dynamic line. It has been waxed with natural beeswax and for maintenance it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a soft cloth. The foot is sold without lampshade, the lampshade visible in the last photos is not delivered with it, it is simply shown to give a better idea of what perhaps the lamp completes, illuminated. Very beautiful piece of French regional folk art, from the middle of the twentieth century.
