Vintage Autumn Landscape Oil Painting

Capture the romantic beauty of a European autumn with this gorgeous, vintage oil painting signed by the artist R. Wohlert. This piece beautifully recreates the highly sought-after, classic composition originally made famous by German master Walter Moras, depicting a serene thatched-roof cottage nestled along a peaceful canal in the historic Spreewald region. The painting showcases rich, thick brushwork and an eye-catching palette of vibrant oranges, warm rusts, and deep earthy tones. The canvas is securely stretched and beautifully preserved, showing only light, authentic surface aging that adds to its vintage character. It comes housed in its magnificent, heavy, ornate gilded plaster-and-wood frame. The frame features wonderful classical detailing with a beautiful golden luster, exhibiting light vintage crazing at the corners that beautifully speaks to its age and history. Look closely on the pictures! Some places on the painting have cracks or gone off duo to it's age! Size / Dimentions: Frame with Painting. Height = 62 cm. Width = 78, 5 cm. Only Painting.
