Poul Cadovius Cado Royal Shelving System Teak Vintage 60s Mid Century

Large Royal System wall shelf by Poul Cadovius made of teak wood. Designed in 1948, this shelving system is one of the early wall-mounted furniture systems of Danish design and follows Cadovius' idea of moving storage space from the floor to the wall. The slender wooden rails and black metal brackets give the generous construction a light, open effect. The structure consists of nine shelves in the upper part. The system is complemented by a closed cabinet element and a shelf, an open shelf in the lower middle section, as well as a compartment with individual dividers for vinyl records. Due to its modular design, the individual elements within the system can be positioned differently and rearranged as needed. The shelf is in very good refurbished condition with age-appropriate signs of use.
