Louis XV style marquetry chest of drawers

Louis XV style chest of drawers with marquetry, 20th century this elegant chest of drawers with curved fronts and sides is made in the pure louis XV style, with particular attention paid to the marquetry and decoration. It rests on four arched legs, highlighting the influence of the rocaille style typical of the 18th century. Solid wood inlaid with rosewood and violetwood frieze veneer. Curved on three sides, typical of the louis XV style. Rich ornamentation in chiseled and gilded brass-plated bronze, notably on the handles, falls, sabots and apron. Molded pink breccia marble, original, perfectly matching the shape of the piece. Three large drawers without crosspieces, offering good storage capacity. Although this piece is made in the louis XV style, the finishes, materials and general craftsmanship indicate a 20th century manufacture, probably in the 1930s–1950s. It is therefore a quality reproduction, faithful to the aesthetics of the 18th century. Condition: the furniture is in good general condition with some signs of wear consistent with its age (see photos) and the veneer shows a beautiful patina.
