Black and white photographic print representing a female profile portrait, characterised by a graphic play of light and shadow projected through a perforated hat. The composition highlights the silhouette and the lines of the face, while the light patterns create a rhythmic effect on the body, in both a formal and elegant approach. The reverse retains a label from the Photoclub du Val de Bièvre mentioning the author C. Roblot as well as the title “An-Loc”. Several stamps attest to a history in photographic salons, including participation in the XVIII Salon d’Avesnes in August 1964, as well as a stamp from the IV International Salon of Photographic Art in Belgrade. These elements confirm a distribution within the club photography circuits of the 1960s. Presented in a frame (frame included), the work measures 52 X 42 cm. The overall condition is good: the print retains deep contrast and a beautiful visual presence. Slight signs of use and micro-scratches are visible, without affecting the quality of viewing. The reverse shows mounting marks consistent with its exhibition history.
