Aconito Gambier or 24K mushroom lamp

Superb polychrome blown glass art lamp, created by Bernard Aconito, dated 1996. The base is signed and numbered n°63. It is made of art glass, worked hot, mouth-blown, with inclusions of 24-carat gold leaf. The lamp comes with its original period certificate of authenticity, issued by the Galerie Contrast in Metz, as well as its original purchase invoice from 1996. The certificate notably mentions: Bernard Aconito – ambient lamp – art glass – hot work – mouth-blown – 24 ct gold inclusion – n°63. The shade has undergone subsequent intervention by the Verrerie Gambier. The Gambier invoice explicitly mentions a repair of the Aconito lamp, in blue and pink tones, with 24-carat gold leaf. This invoice will also be provided with the lamp. The whole piece is particularly spectacular when illuminated, with very beautiful effects of material and light in blue, turquoise, pink, amber, and gold tones.
