rare bohemian saddle leather safari easy chairs, 1970s

Vintage scandinavian safari easy chairs, 1970s. The sturdy chairs have a solid pine frame between which the black saddle leather seat is stretched. The leather backrest is slid over a frame. The leather straps on the back of the seat give the chairs a nice robust character. The chairs have a great resemblance to the karin mobring diana safari chair for ikea, but have a different shape of the wooden frame. Perhaps prototypes or craftsmanship What is certain is that this model is rare, perhaps one of a kind. Designer and manufacturer unknown to us. Condition: good vintage condition. Light traces of use on the wooden frame and leather in accordance with age. Beautiful patina.
