A large two-part Art Deco vitrine buffet, circa 1920, veneered throughout in highly figured flamed birch with ebonised mouldings and details. The upper section features three glazed display compartments, each door framed in ebonised wood and fitted with a distinctive circular glazed ornament characteristic of the period. The lower section presents three doors veneered in a bold chevron pattern with ebonised oval escutcheons, opening to generous interior storage with adjustable shelving. The piece stands on tapered, ebonised feet. The combination of warm amber birch veneer and sharp ebonised contrasts is a hallmark of quality Central European Art Deco cabinetmaking. Professionally and completely restored; in excellent, ready-to-use condition with only minimal traces consistent with its age.
