Streetlamp - oil on panel by René Quivilic

Oil painting on panel, street lamp by René Quivilic. A Breton artist known for his monumental sculptures, sometimes commissioned by institutions, René Quivilic has maintained a strong taste for figurative painting inspired by the urban or rural atmospheres of his region. This work is part of a series of nocturnal street scenes in which the street lamp is a central element. His technique combines diffuse brush strokes and tool marks reminiscent of sgraffito. In perfect condition, in its original frame with a gilded moulding and linen backing. The dimensions described are those of the artwork. More information or photos available upon request.
