The result visually evokes stone or terrazzo while maintaining the characteristic shiny elegance of design furniture from this period. Its geometric design plays with solid and void volumes: a large rectangular top with softened corners sits atop a graphic base that incorporates an open space. A silhouette that is both sculptural and highly functional, it works well in both a seventies interior and contemporary decor. The signature plaque J.C. Mahey is present on the side of the piece.
