Solid silver fish service cutlery 950°/°°

Rare - Superb pair of fish service cutlery in solid silver from the 19th century. Comprising a slotted serving spoon and fork, the set is adorned with a rich chiseled decoration on the handle as well as on the spoon and fork, showcasing very meticulous craftsmanship. The handles bear the hallmark of the head of Mercury to the left in a diamond shape (950 silver). Excellent condition preserved in their original case "jewellery watchmaking RENE CAEN"/ Total weight of the 2 pieces: 303 grams of 950 silver (equivalent to 287 grams of pure silver) and 708 grams total weight with their case in its original condition.
