Silver sugar bowl from the 18th century, Louis XVI, 1784, Pierre-Claude Noblet.

Louis XVI sugar bowl in solid silver, decorated with standing cherubs supporting oval medallions linked by floral garlands. The lid handle is shaped like a strawberry. The piece is in good condition, with no missing decoration except possibly a strawberry leaf on the handle, and slight play in the finial. The blue glass liner is in perfect condition. This is a piece of 18th-century silver. It has a charge and discharge hallmark, Paris 1783. Community hallmark, Paris, 1784. The silversmith's hallmark is distorted, likely Pierre-Claude Noblet, registered in Paris in 1781. There is no monogram in the medallions. Dimensions: 19 x 9.5 cm, total height with lid: 14 cm.
