Large Table Lamp - Gien Faience (Peonies Model)

Notice to enthusiasts and collectors of fine craftsmanship. Selling a magnificent and authentic exceptional table lamp, made from a vase from the famous Faïencerie de Gien. This is the legendary Vase shape 517, a highly sought-after vintage model that is no longer commercially available today. At the time, the pottery sold the vase unadorned, and customers had the lamp assembly done by a subcontracting artisan (which explains why the drilling at the base has obscured the original signature, but the authenticity of the piece and the decor is undeniable). Decor: Peonies, the great classic that is bright, floral, and ultra-elegant from Gien. Condition: Excellent condition, superb shine of the earthenware and colours.
