Superb large antique decanter for spirits, with a generous capacity of 1.2 litres. A particularly elegant and imposing piece, made from thick, heavy glass, resembling crystal, with a magnificent decoration of ribs and facets that beautifully captures the light. The decanter is adorned with a silver-plated neck, featuring a lovely antique finish, and a spectacular cut glass stopper in the shape of a ball. Its refined silhouette and significant weight make it a very beautiful bar piece, ideal for presenting and serving whisky, cognac, brandy, armagnac, or other spirits. No visible marks or signatures on the piece. The manufacturer has therefore not been definitively identified. Capacity: approximately 1.2 litres. Condition: very good overall condition considering its age. The glass is heavy, shiny, and very decorative. The silver-plated metal shows some traces and signs of wear from time, characteristic of an antique piece. Note: the stopper has tiny chips on the glass, visible in the photographs. They remain discreet and do not detract from the overall elegance of the decanter. A piece full of character, both decorative and functional, perfect for a bar cabinet, a collection of antique objects, or a beautiful table.
