Maralunga 3-seater sofa in black leather by Vico Magistretti for Cassina

Designed in 1973 by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, the Maralunga sofa is one of the most representative creations of Italian design from the second half of the 20th century. This three-seater example is presented in an elegant black leather version. The silhouette of the Maralunga rests on a particularly successful balance between a low structure with architectural lines and soft, enveloping cushions. The three seats are accompanied by wide padded armrests and three independent backrests. The essential feature of the model lies in its transformable backrest system.
