They represent the ultimate in Moroccan Berber rugs. The weaving, with a particularly high density, gives the rug a tighter texture, thus requiring a substantial amount of wool for its creation. M'rirt rugs are washed and brushed once woven, giving the wool a velvety softness. They are remarkably thick, offering a plush comfort, and feature patterns similar to those of Beni Ouarain rugs.
