A series of 12 dessert plates and its cake tray. Gien paris monuments series. Ceramic from gien 1950s. These plates have an unusual, almost square shape, the detailed designs are cleverly placed in the right 'corner' of each, and there are 12 illustrations in all. The set of illustrations on each plate includes all the monuments of paris and the illustration on the board is notre dame to make the hearts of those who have visited or know paris beat faster! They are all stamped gien with the name of the monument. All in very good condition, beautiful patina of wear and tear over time, only the "eiffel tower" plate has a shine (see photo) french country decoration.
