Set of three vintage folk art ceramic wall plates, Czechoslovakia and Romania.

A charming set of three vintage glazed ceramic wall plates from the 1950s. Two black plates were produced in the famous pottery region of Pozdišovce, Slovakia, while the central plate comes from Romania. Together, they create a striking display of traditional folk art from Central Europe. Each plate features hand-decorated folk motifs in vibrant colours that beautifully contrast with the dark glazed backgrounds. The original hanging strings are still attached, and one plate retains its original manufacturer's mark on the back. Rich in character while being surprisingly contemporary in appearance, this decorative trio is perfect for a gallery wall or as a colourful accent in both vintage and modern interiors. Sold as a complete set of three. Excellent condition with no damage.
