Hanging lamp p 267 by Sven Middelboe edited by Nordisk Solar 1950

Danish lighting manufacturer nordisk solar was founded in 1919 by Jacob L. Jørgensen and Herluf Sørensen and is well known for its mid-century modern pendants and layered lighting designs. This p 267 lamp was designed by Sven Middelboe for Nordisk solar in the mid fifties. It has a metal white lacquered shade finished with brass and wood. This lamp is a reflection of the ultra refined danish design aesthetics of the midcentury period. The lamp stands in its original and good condition.
