Vintage modular Pizza seating element by Don Chadwick for Herman Miller

We could write a whole book about these seats. This modern modular seating system by Chadwick for Herman Miller immediately won us over here at The Good Stuff Factory, so much so that we temporarily claimed it for our own retro corner. They look fantastic, are incredibly comfortable and, in our opinion, represent retro design at its very best. Unfortunately, that also comes at a price. They are certainly not bargains, but on the other hand, we don’t expect the value of these pieces to decrease. Hidden connectors allow the elements to be linked together in whichever configuration you prefer. We distinguish between pieces with limited signs of use and pieces with stains, faded fabric or heavier signs of wear. The latter are priced differently, as you will probably want to have them reupholstered. For now, we have kept them in their original condition — “dans leur jus”, as the French say — and even placed them in our own living room while waiting for their next owner. Prices including 21% VAT: Elements with limited signs of use: €780 per element. Elements with faded areas or heavier signs of use: €410 per element. Regarding reupholstery, we have already obtained a quote from a professional furniture workshop. We can provide this information so you can get started on giving these pieces a completely new look.
