Pair of glass wall sconces by HoSo, Germany 1970s

A pair of wall lights, sconces from the German company HoSo. They can just as well be placed horizontally under a shelf or in a kitchen installation. Black plastic base and with thick ornate glass shades. There are two E14 light bulb sockets in each light and a switch on one short end of each. Good condition with only very light signs of wear on the plastic. Glass shades in perfect condition. HoSo Hoffmeister & Sohn or Hoffmeister Und Sohn, was established in 1910 by Wilhelm Hoffmeister. In the first years the company was involved in the manufacturing and installation of switch-gear. Hoffmeister & Sohn was the first factory in Germany specialised in lamps made from Bakelite (1929).
