An exceptional piece for lovers of antique tableware: this covered bowl combines finely cut diamond and crosshatch crystal with a richly crafted silver-plated mount, in the spirit of the Restoration/Charles X style (circa 1820-1840). Its two volute handles adorned with rosettes frame a lid topped with an elegant finial in the shape of an acorn — an emblematic motif of early 19th-century French silverware. The whole rests on a square base, highlighted by a frieze of rosettes and claw feet, adding presence and stability to the piece. The crystal is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. The mount shows a natural patina from use, which only needs polishing to regain its shine. A characterful piece, suitable for display on a sideboard, buffet, or showcase, or for presenting dried fruits and sweets during your receptions.
