Recycled vintage lamp — brown ceramic base, terracotta gingham shade

A baluster foot in chocolate brown glazed ceramic, with a shiny and deep glaze, whose curved silhouette, tapered at the neck and then flared like a pear, evokes the classic shapes of carafes or soliflores commonly found in decorative ceramics. In our workshop, this vintage foot has been completely refurbished: fully rewired and fitted with a new socket for safe use. It is topped with a newly made lampshade on an old structure, with a scalloped shape, hand-stitched in terracotta and white gingham fabric. The combination of the deep hue of the foot and the warm check pattern of the lampshade gives this lamp a look that is both classic and full of character.
